My dear brother Bautista
Although you are in mourning, I don’t want your feast day to pass without writing a few lines to let you know that we never forget you in our prayers. We wish for you a very happy and joyful day, full of grace and health, and that the Lord grants you all the virtues so that you may be a holy and fervent Catholic, defending the glory of God and the rights of the Catholic religion. We will pray a lot for you on that day, particularly during Holy Communion — the Reverend Mother Prioress and the entire Community. Please extend my regards to the whole family.
From your sister, who loves you and keeps you in her humble prayers.

My dear brother Bautista:
I take up my pen to congratulate you on your feast day, wishing you a very happy day filled with peace, health, and joy in the company of your dear wife, mother, sisters, and the rest of your family. May the Lord shower you with spiritual and temporal blessings so that you may become a fervent Catholic, and may the Saint obtain for you all the virtues you need to become holy.
I will not forget you in my humble prayers, and the entire Community will do the same, so that the Saint may protect you in all the needs of life.
Mother will surely forgive me for not having written sooner; it was not due to lack of will. We received the two baskets of oranges, which were very good. May the Lord repay you with spiritual and temporal blessings. We keep you in our prayers and, as I trust you will visit soon, I will not write more.
Receive the regards of the entire Community, and especially of this daughter and sister who loves you deeply and never forgets you.

My dearest siblings Bautista and Purificación:
I have just received your letter informing me of the joyful news that you now have a little angel, something I had been hoping for and which greatly delights me, as well as the entire Community. We had been praying much to the Lord and to Blessed Inés, and finally, it has been granted to you. Now, we will also pray that God preserves your little one, that he may grow to be a saint and the comfort and joy of his parents, grandmothers, aunts, and all the family—a relief to all sorrows. We offer our heartfelt congratulations and wish you many years of happiness to enjoy this little angel. Be sure to give many thanks to God for such a precious gift granted through the intercession of Blessed Inés. I am deeply grateful to her and will continue to pray that she protects your child. Please give my nephew many kisses on my behalf and on behalf of the entire Community. Let us know who will baptise him—whether it will be Father Serafín—who the godparents will be and so on.
Receive warm regards from the entire Community, who remember you in their prayers and share in your joy, particularly from this daughter and sister who loves you deeply and never forgets you.

(PS): Bautista, I ask you to keep an eye out, and if bran becomes cheaper, let us know so we can purchase it. We currently have some, but if an opportunity arises to buy it at a lower price, we would take advantage. Goodbye.
