The last male child of this family was ordained as a priest in the Capuchin order. His name was Vicente Domingo, and he took the name Fray Serafín upon his profession. Due to religious persecution, he was imprisoned in Murcia from August 14, 1936, until September 5, 1937. He passed away in 1978 in Bogotá, Colombia, while serving in his mission.

Algemesí.
Dearest Father: I suppose you already have my letter from the 3rd, as I was unable to respond to yours earlier due to being in Murcia on Monday to complete the enrollment process at the Institute and the School of Commerce.
Today I spoke with the Provincial Father and discussed the matter I bring to you regarding the situation of your sister, Felicidad. He is very much in agreement and will handle whatever is necessary for the peace of the sick woman and her family. However, he believes that if it is not settled by Saturday, it should be left as is for now, and you should come that day to begin the spiritual exercises on Sunday. He repeated several times that if you need to finish the matter later, he will give you permission to return as often as necessary.
As I mentioned, you should come here to start the holy exercises; with them, we will all benefit. Go to Valencia and speak with Father Laureano, if he has returned; I believe he won’t be back until the 8th or 9th.
Please send my greetings to your mother, Purificación, and all your family, and feel free to send whatever you wish to your affectionate servant in Christ.
